What are people saying about Lucy Minerals?

"Holy Cow is this stuff awesome! HG HG!!! I am a makeup junkie especially when it comes to foundations. I gave up on mineral makeup awhile ago. Most of them looked like hell. BE what the hell? I couldn't figure out why it was so popular. I looked worse with it on. Made every flaw stand out. Well I discovered MUA and started reading all the reviews of different makeup and started doing some searches for high lippies in all areas of cosmetics and came across a few brands that stood out on MUA and from what people said about BE sucking. So I thought I would give mineral makeup another chance. I started ordering samples from a few of the popular mineral makeup companies that other MUA people liked. Lucy Minerals stood out from the samples I tried and is awesome. I was just looking at myself in my rearview mirror the other day and was like damn my skin looks good! I have been wearing it for about 2 months. It just evens everything out without looking like you have makeup on. Do be careful this is potent. Don't over do it. This stuff has great coverage. I have very oily skin but have only tried the regular Lucy's and love it. I might get the oil control next spring to try it out but the Shisiedo ultimate spf 55 that I just discovered from MUA is doing a pretty good job under the Lucy (foundation) . LOVE THIS STUFF!!! It has antioxidants and sunscreen too." - Tiffanyhess, MUA

"I can't recommend this enough. It's the mmu I've been looking over 2 years for: full coverage, yet not a dry, powdery look. The finish is almost dewy w/o being shiny. (Light) was so good, I hated to take it off at the end of the day. I have ordered the full size and hope they keep it coming because I will surely reorder. " - Lilmama51

"Since I am the 1st person to review this revolutionary foundation, I'm going to decribe it to my best and give a true and thorough review.
I have tried numerous foundations from drugstores to high end to numerous other mineral foundations but this is by far the BEST one I have come across. This foundation applies on creamy and gives a matte finish. It is very concerntrated meaning you really only need a tiny tiny bit. I usually do 2 quick layers and spot conceal and this pretty much gives FULL coverage. It feels like not wearing any makeup. After a few minutes of wearing the foundation, it melds into the skin giving a flawless and natural glow. I'vetried and tested this foundation to its limits- gone clubbing with it, walked through the rain with it, went to the beach, slept in it, excercised with it and and it stays on, doesnt melt off my face or turn streaky. Other foundations I have to touch up several times through the day/night but with this foundation, most the times i don't even need to and if i do, i just do it ONCE.

Very affordable for the ingredients that are used:
Green Coffee Bean Extract/ Apple Poly Extract- powerful anitoxidants, fights free radicals, anti aging.
Vitamin C (Asorbic Acid)- boosts collagen production resulting in youthful skin
Allantoin- anti irritant, soothing properties, moisturising, healing.
Titanium Dioxide & Zinc Oxide- Natural Sunscreens, anti aging acts as a barrier to protect the skin from the sun's harmful rays.
It contains all natural ingredients- No parabens, talc, waxes, fragrances to clog pores.

I highly recommend this mineral makeup and best of all...it is really affordable and you definitely get (a) bang for your buck! I LOVE IT!!

Update: I've been wearing Lucy Minerals foundation for over half a year now and I must say I have not strayed from it as I do feel this is the BEST mineral makeup for my skin. I am now wearing the Oil control formula with calcium carbonate (combination skin with oily Tzone) and I find this to last me throughout the day very well. I apply it over my moisturiser with Lucy Minerals Ultimate Flat Top Brush (softest brush ever) and gently buff and sweep it over and into my skin. This provides the best coverage for me and I find it only takes less than one minute to do this. I love wearing this foundation with Matte Apricot Blush or Sienna Glow Blush which are my faves. Please anyone looking to try this brand of mineral makeup, you don't need to think twice, definitely worth a go!"

"This is my favorite foundation in the entire world. It is absolutely my HG and I would go on an Arthurian quest to find it.

My skin used to be a nightmare. I assumed I was just cursed with bad skin and layered on Everyday Minerals foundation to cover up my blemishes. The more foundation I used, the worse my skin got. It was a vicious cycle of suckitude. Eventually I made the connection between my foundation and the volcanic zits covering my face and started looking for a new brand. Enter Lucy Minerals. Their foundation in Light turned out to be a pretty good match. (I'm NC15-ish, former EM Buff Fair Neutral. Light is a little bit too dark, so I mix in some Snow White and it looks perfect. It doesn't oxidize on me like most MMU does.) After a month of using this my skin started clearing up. I got some of this company's Ambrosia Serum and now, about five months later, my skin looks the best it has since I hit puberty.

This foundation can look cakey until you get the hang of applying it. Personally, I stipple it on with an E.L.F. powder brush (the flat kind). I start at the outside of my face and work my way in, because it can look powdery around my nose. You really don't need much to get a lot of coverage. It's also important to moisturize before using it. If you have large pores, a primer might be necessary.

Sorry for the novel. I'm just so in love with this stuff! If I was any good at poetry I'd write an ode to it..." - sirthursday
